The rest of 2015

I was browsing the posts on this blog from 9+ years ago last night and realized I like having this place to look back on what life used to be like. So, here goes another attempt at getting this blog going again. I actually have unlimited internet on my computer for the first time in 6 1/2 years, so that's a good start!

I ended 2 1/2 years ago with a baby Chap! He has a baby brother now which I'll introduce eventually.

We will start with the two bedtime bandits, Rowan and Myah

 The best part of Fall 2015 was flying to North Carolina to meet two new nieces, Leilani Skye and Alyssa Serene!

They were born only 2 weeks apart

The things we do at Goodwill

 My fall visit with Grandma was interrupted by Harmony and Leah bringing their boys down for the day. We were delighted!

Welcome Chapman Wells

Chapman Wells Brubaker arrived July 14. We are all so happy to have him in our lives.

A peek into my life the last month and a half.

 Jasmine was my coffee buddy one morning.

This canoe was part of many happy hours of my childhood. I took it out on the lake one evening, and think I shall do it again.

 The pool was a big hit on the 90 degree days.

 Then it was time to start the long trip back home with my big truck. It actually went very well.

 Home again! Celebrating the fact I don't have to drive a big truck anymore, with Chai lattes at The Black Owl.

 My roses are blooming! I have a real flowerbed this year and I'm loving it!

I finally bought a little table for my porch and am loving that.

Lake Michigan is my happy summer spot. Now that Seth and Harmony live there I've been spending more time at it.

Rowan can't wait till the day he owns keys and can drive a car.

He has no fear of water, as I found out. 

Fireworks on the lake are my favorite! I've been there most of the last 7 years and still love them.

 Rowan was so tired he just covered his ears and watched. 

Chilling in the hammock after a late night. I love the stage this child is at. He's so much fun. 

 Sunday afternoon after the 4th we walked around St Joseph and down the pier. It was a nice relaxing evening. Meanwhile, Rowan practiced boarding.

Yesterday I pulled out my camera and snapped a couple pictures of Myah.

Some days I'm not sure how to handle this much cuteness!

There are about 60 baby pigs on the farm right now. I am partial to these brown ones.
