Look what Christa brought me from Florida!

The gardening season has officially started!

My pussy willows are about all I have to show for spring!

The sun shining on the trees this evening made them look like spring! The lake has water showing now instead of just ice!

I had a visit from the sister-in-law and nephew today!

I also got to spend some time with another niece and her family!

Sunshine, blue sky, a giant tree and a nice walk!

Today after work I decided to do something random and run into Niles and go antique shopping with Leah. We had lots of fun browsing and freaking out about how much you can sell that stuff for. I mean, I remember when that spice container was what all our spices came in and that toy was what I played with!

Anyway, I bought this adorable tea pot, which combines my love of antiques and my love of red! Plus it was reasonably priced!

Today was not the kind of March day you celebrate. More like the kind you try to forget it existed. We did get a few rays of sun in the evening before the snow hit for real.

Cami, Cole and I just got back from a walk in the woods. We found some GREEN and checked up on the latest beaver work.

Spring is coming! Loving a 56* day today!

Today I got to spend some time with the happier, healthier Guy! He's also wilder than usual thanks to the steroids he's on.

Yes, it is still winter here. I'm currently watching what I hope will be the last snow storm of the season. Maybe it's a little early to start hoping that but there is sunshine and 40's coming this weekend!

Not really my idea of celebrating, but it's not every day I get to visit a nephew in the hospital. Get better soon little Guy!

Celebrating March!

March is meant to be celebrated as it's the month you start thinking winter might actually end sometime. Therefore, instead of a photo challenge this month I'm going to show how I celebrated it. Yesterday I bought daffodils, today I ate a brownie sundae. Actually it was to celebrate cleaning and redecorating my house. Spring fever must have hit today.
