Favorite spot.
One of my all time favorite places (especially this time of year) is Antigua, Guatemala. I love the cobblestone streets, cafe's on every corner and even the people selling their wares.

I dislike...
Shortening. It's sticky, slimy, greasy, and disgusting. Getting to the bottom of the box (at work) is when it really drives me crazy as there is no nice way to scoop out a couple pounds without getting it all over your hands. From there it turns into a slimy greasy mess that won't come off without very hot water or soap. Butter at least absorbs into your skin somewhat and has a "natural" feel about it. I won't even bother going into what it does after you eat it. Actually I haven't really studied that, what it does to my skin is enough to keep me away from it. :)

Comfort.

I won't claim that crocs are stylish, but for my job they are the best thing I've found. They keep my feet cool in the summer and warm (with socks) in the winter. They withstand water, flour, potato soup and eggs being dropped on them. If they get too wet I just dry them off and every now and then I even wash them. There's not much incentive to when they look just as bad at the end of the next day. Therefore I choose crocs for comfort and practicality. :)

First day is "vintage". That was hard for me because I love vintage stuff and collecting it, but I chose this because it has family history. My grandma bought this vase 74 years ago in IL as a small girl. I love the splash of color it adds to my collection on top of my kitchen cupboards.
