Florida!

Sunday I got home after spending a week in Florida with Vern and Christa visiting Vern's sister. We took a load of 13 1/2 steers down that Vern had butchered and sold.

After driving all night We were all happy to stop at our first beef stop in Florida early in the morning!

We got to Sean and Lori's later that morning and one of the first things Jake asked me was "If I pay you money will you make me some play dough?" I guess I made him some a few years ago and he hasn't forgotten. Anyway, as his birthday was the next day I told him I would for his birthday.

The biplane he made

Brody's version of a biplane.

It kept all the children happy for the morning!

Out at the farm Sean's are moving to. The house and guest cabin in front of it.

A little veranda at the front door.

Cami loved the pony!

The Hydroponics system. 500 strawberry plants plus lots of veggies.

The flu hit pretty much all of us on the same day. The couches were in high demand.

I was quite pleased to be able to buy a car while I was down there!

The banana pudding was a huge hit!

Nothing like real whipped cream! :)

PA

This past week-end I was able to spend in PA with Mike and Anna!

There was a wedding Saturday evening so a bunch of friends were there too. It was a full house and we had a blast!

Saturday morning we went to a trail about 15 minutes from Mike's that's a half mile hike up a mountain with about 500 stone steps part of the way up.

Beloved Bananas!

I can't believe how big this girl is getting!

NY

After PA Lynette and I rode to NY with some friends and spent a few days with them. Wednesday we spent the day in NYC and had a lot of fun together.
Waiting on the train. We missed the one we wanted by 5 minutes so we had to wait an hour for the next one.

Jo and Alex used the opportunity to text their boyfriends.

Lunch at a tea house. I had curry and bubble tea and loved it all!

Lots of riding around on subways

The busy city

We girls met Jo and Alex's aunt and ate supper in "Little Italy" at a really nice Italian restaurant. Yeah, it came with a nice bill too! :)

a pastry shop we went to

Mango sorbet. It's what I will always judge ice cream by now.
