Guy William

I've been staying at Peter and Leah's this week (with wifi, which is why I'm updating so much) so I took the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Guy.

Catching up from the busy summer.

I got a little behind on blogging, so here's the catch up post.

Micah, Merry and Declan came to visit us over the 4th of July!

I had so much fun with this little man.

The middle of July Grandma and I took the train to PA! She had a couple weddings to go to and I got a few days with my family.

Anna and I did a couple bushels of green beans.

And Keane made a fashion statement.

Myah seems quite happy to have her hands on my wallet!

My birthday this year was celebrated with a sushi party! What fun we had.

I ate sushi for about 3 days and now it's finally starting to sound good again. :)

Seth and Harmony moved back to MI so Harmony and I celebrated our birthdays in St Joseph one day.

We shopped at all the cute shops, went to the farmers market and the lake and ended our celebration at the South Bend Chocolate Company.

North Carolina weekend

This past weekend I had a ride to NC, so I took a quick trip for some family time! I got there Friday evening and left Sunday afternoon, so Saturday was pretty much my only time to just hang out.

The day started with one of Michael's famous Salted Caramel Latte's!

Then in the afternoon we spent a couple hours in the pool.

Judson didn't seem to mind the taste of salt water.

Brandon, Judson, and Declan. It was so nice to have a day with these boys!

This little guy is growing up so fast! I just hope he's not walking next time I see him.

Before we knew it, it was time for baths and bedtime stories.

Camping

When I noticed that I had a couple weekends off work this month, I decided I really needed to go camping. So after looking around a bit I chose the Grand Haven area as I've never really been there in the summer. Since we have good friends with a lovely campsite near by, it worked out great!

My lovely campsite!
I spent lots of time in my hammock watching the leaves blow in the breeze or reading.

I had lots of fun cooking over my fire too! This smoked salmon was my favorite!

Making coffee and some breakfast over the fire.

I loved the setting and had such a relaxing time. After two days of it though, I was ready for a life that wasn't quite so relaxing. :)

Before I went back home I had to stop by Lake Michigan and walk out to the lighthouse.
