A day at Lake Michigan!

Today we had a ladies (and childrens) day out and went to Lake Michigan to celebrate Mama's birthday on Thursday. It was a great day and we all had a lot of fun!

Canoe trip 2009

The past few days we did our 4th pine river canoe trip. We try to do it every 2 years but missed last year since Peter is the planner and he was getting married.

Peter and Leah are a great camping trip team! They did a wonderful job of planning it and making it fun for all of us.

Who knew that it took so much stuff for 35 people to camp for 2 nights?

Five days wasn't near enough time with this great guy but I am so happy that he was able to be with us!

Wednesday we left camp around noon and drove to Ludington and walked along the beach to the lighthouse.

You can climb up it and the view is amazing!
