I would have fainted, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! Psalm 27:13-14

More pictures from Pennsylvania trip.

Jordan seemed to like having three extra adults around to play with. We enjoyed playing with her too of course. :)

I love this girl's belly laugh!

Saturday I helped Seth shoot a wedding. It was a gorgeous day and perfect lighting!

Going bowling!

Mike's brother Joe was in the area so he spent Saturday afternoon and night with us.

Home again, home again!
It feels very good to not be living out of a suitcase and I think I'm going to stay at home for at least 3 weeks now! :)

Final Texas post

The view from Wes's little porch

The hospital he works at

Yesterday we went out to South Padre Beach for awhile. It was a gorgeous day! The brown stuff is kelp that washed in.

Bird tracks

Sand dollars in a shell shop we stopped at.

Yeah, we're a little cheesy

Last night we went on a walk and enjoyed the sunset and lovely warm evening

I loved these little sunflowers that grew all over in the fields!
Now I'm home again for the night. Tomorrow morning I leave for PA for the rest of the week. :) After that I think I'll just stay home for a few weeks at least.

Day 4

This morning we went to the flea market and did some other shopping, then we came home and made some killer burritos! Yes, it was Mexican food again! I've now eaten Mexican 6 times this week. :) I couldn't care less though, as that's my favorite food.

Now Wes is working for the night and I'm going to find something to do. I am blessed that he was able to get the whole time off while I am here except one night!

The beach and the zoo

Yesterday afternoon we went to the Gulf of Mexico and drove on the sand about 12 miles. We saw Mexico and then drove the other direction till we were right by South Padre Island.

A group of pelicans we chased off these rocks. We walked all the way out to the end and saw the flipper of a dolphin a few times.

Today we went to the Brownsville zoo. The animals were feeling a little low key and there were tons of school kids there but it was fun!

What a hard life.

According to one of the little girls at this exhibit, this is Santa Claus.

That my friends is the worlds best taco! I'm going to have to come to Brownsville more often.

Mexican sodas are pretty good too! They go great with tacos.
