Texas!

I made a flying trip to Texas this last week-end and rode home with Wes and Lyd. They actually moved back to Michigan!!
First on my agenda was Tacos! They were as good as I was expecting.

Packing out Saturday morning.

Empty house, full Jeep and trailer!

It was HOT!
Then the Jeep started overheating so we really got to enjoy the heat!

Miles and miles of brown pastures and cows!

No AC (since it was overheating) meant open windows which meant wind blown hair!

Random Pictures

I've been very busy at work (put in 95 hours so far this month) so I haven't had much time to take pictures, but here are a few that I got.

The garden is doing great and I've been enjoying it's bounty.

Don't let Grandmas play a spring loaded game. They will scream. Then the Grandpa will come along to show them how it's done and win.

Family time!

This last week-end we had some relatives come for a visit.
Grandma is here for a week and has spent lots of time washing dishes and doing various projects around the house!

My Aunt and Uncle from MD came and spent a night with us.

This group of cousins went out Friday morning and picked 80 pounds of blueberries!

Baby blue eyes!

Grandma reading to Guy and my cousins boy, Gideon.

We took supper to Lake Michigan Friday evening and enjoyed the water.

October 15 is the big day!

KM Pizza party!

We have been doing a kids ministry with the kids in town every week for the last 5 years or so.
Lately we have all been realizing that it is just too much to do right now, so last night we had one final bash with them and are hoping to keep up with individual kids and all get together once in a while too.

Football was the game of choice for many of the boys!

Deion is the leader among the boys and they love when he plays football with them!

The ones that weren't a fan of football found other ways to occupy themselves.

We ate delicious pizza!

And ice cream cones!

We were going to let the kids put on the toppings and heat up their piece on the grill but when 25 of them showed up we decided that would be overkill and just used the oven.
