My vacation got extended twice. I was going to come home Monday afternoon but at 1 am that morning my heart sank and I realized I had sent my purse home with Wes and Lyd. I was just going to go home without it until I realized my car key was in the purse too. So, I got off work and planned to go home. Wednesday after I got my key, but Wednesday also came with a huge snow storm.
So, I had a girls night...
and spent lots of time at my favorite Mexican restaurant that our friends own.
This
chicken fajita burrito brought back memories of when I was younger and
we would get fajitas and Snapple here and then go spend the day at Lake
Michigan!
(No, the children are not the cooks. They are just making some food for themselves)
This morning we woke up to the the sun shining on 8" of snow. It was so beautiful that Lyn and I bundled up and ran out to take some pictures.
Then I shoveled out my car, went to Pruebelo for one last meal and am back in my cabin again!

It was great fun having you here! I would've never sent your keys home with Wes & Lyd, but I won't pretend to be sorry that they were. ;)
