Tuesday Lyn and I flew to Panama to visit Seth and Lydia's brother Daniel and his wife Janel, and little girl Natasha. After flying for 6 hours, we took a taxi to the Albrook bus station and waited there for 10 hours for the midnight bus. We wanted the midnight bus so we wouldn't be stranded at the David bus station before the buses started running again the next morning. So, after we got on the bus we had a six hour bus ride. My legs were feeling jumpy from sitting all day so it wasn't exactly a restful night. We got into David around 6 and there were a few other people going to Boquete too so we hopped in a taxi with them instead of bringing the bus out. I've decided that Boquete has the most perfect weather I've ever experienced! Just warm enough, yet not hot in the day with a nice wind. It often mists in the afternoon through the sunshine. Yesterday Janel, Lyn and I took a walk and saw an amazing rainbow!
Copa actually still feeds you on your flight!
This ad at the Albrook bus station cracked us up.
The sun rising on the hills coming into Boquete.
Natasha!
Today we all walked into town to buy some groceries. It's about a 40 minute walk and most of the way home is uphill. We stopped at a look out on the way down and enjoyed the scenery. There was a narrow path you could walk out on and it was so windy that it honostly felt like it was going to blow you down!
Natasha had a little nap
We bought some green coconuts to drink at the market.

Daniel and Janel's backyard is so beautiful! It's full of citrus trees, a passion fruit vine and lots of flowers. It's the perfect place to sit in the afternoon to read, write, or blog.
